Ablevision has recorded its biggest interview to date!  We were fortunate enough to be invited to the set of Paul Blart: Mall Cop for an exclusive interview with Kevin James, who wrote and is starring in the movie!  Kevin and his publicist were very generous with their time and we enjoyed our visit greatly.  Check out a little bit of our interview in our clip of the month!

The crew at Triangle Lynn had their first
ever Ablevision shoot today!  They are covering a story about the Lynn Time Bank, a non profit organization that allows people to donate their time and services in exchange for other services from their members.  Look for their story coming up in Episode 18!

After almost being rained out, Ablevision had a crew covering the Special Olympics at Malden's MacDonald Stadium and got lots of good footage of the events and athletes.  Stay tuned for Episode 17!

Ablevision had a strong presence at  the 37th Annual Triangle celebration dinner yesterday where Triangle raised $260,000 for program participants.  We had a three person crew at the event conducting interviews and filming, Christine and Lily were presenters, and Nicky sang the National Anthem!

The first phase of our new equipment acquisition has started, and we now have an awesome Canon XH-A1 Camera that shoots in High Definition, along with a new camera tripod.  Thankyou to the Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family Foundation!  More to come!

Ablevision received two awards at the 10th Annual Alliance for Community Media Northeast Regional Video Film Festival! Episode 7 won for in the "Best Diversity Empowerment Video" and the crew of Ablevision was presented with the Rika Welsh Community Impact Award, which is given to organizations which create a greater awareness of a cause they champion.  Congratulations to the crew!
